Professor J. Hunter Tart, a member of the visiting faculty, was quoted in the Philadelphia Business Journal on Feb. 10 concerning a quarrel between Google a law firm that represents it.
Google is seeking to have Pepper Hamilton, a firm that has represented it since 2008, disqualified from working on behalf of another client that sued the search engine behemoth’s Android partner for alleged patent infringement.
Tart said screening for potential client conflicts can be a challenge for law firms under some circumstances.
